Our studio loft (“Loft in the Woods”) is perfect compliment to Start Line Inn (SLI) cabin, the “sister” rental on the property. Rent Loft in the Woods by itself or with our SLI cabin rental.

The Loft in the Woods is a flexible loft studio space with modern amenities. Perfect for families, friends, teams/clubs & Silent Sports folks. Ski/bike in/out directly to mountain bike and XC trails. Larger groups, consider renting Loft in the Woods and Start Line Inn, gaining full kitchen and plenty of room for sleeping.

THE STUDIO LOFT SPACE

The Loft in the Woods studio provides an open feel of the great outdoors with large skylights allowing forest sights and sounds to permeate your surroundings. Is it cheating to be protected from the elements and enjoy modern amenities? You are worth it after a long day on the Cable Area trails.

Loft in the Woods is a loft studio space. Flexible design allows arrangement of space to suit your needs. Beautifully finished with fine craftsmanship. Sit on the balcony with a book and coffee or glass of wine. Plenty of gear storage. Multiple amenities: WiFi, Smart TV, central heat and AC.

Kitchenette area includes: table/chairs, small refrigerator, coffee maker, microwave, toaster, dishes & sink.

Or dine outdoors with charcoal grill, meal prep, picnic table and covered seating area.

For guests wanting a gourmet kitchen and/or larger groups, see our sister listing, Start Line Inn.

2 bathrooms, full bath with shower and separate half bath.

Get a good night’s sleep on a full futon sofa/bed or twin beds. We supply all linens.

Added bonus of START LINE SERVICES, Bike and XC Ski Service Center, on property. Guests have use of wax hut for ski prep and bike storage. We accommodate your silent sport needs.

Please inquire if you wish to vacation with your pet. Once approved, a $25/night fee will apply.

LARGER GROUP OR TEAM–while our usual set up is designed for up to 6 guests, the flexible design of the loft studio space allows us to accommodate more folks. We have additional twin cots or folks may bring sleeping bags. Please inquire.

ON THE PROPERTY

Guests have exclusive use of the Loft in the Woods. If guests book START LINE INN along with the Loft in the Woods, have the best of both worlds with gourmet kitchen ideal for large group meals. Do not fret any equipment needs as Mike can help you at START LINE SERVICES, Bike and Ski Service Center. You have access to waxing stations, bike stand and secure storage. Parking for several vehicles. Mountain bike and XC trail access, ski/bike in/out.

The Loft in the Woods is an ideal for families, teams/clubs, small or larger groups. The flexibility of the open space is perfect for merging training and getting a good night’s sleep. The sleeping arrangements include a full-sized futon couch/sleeper & 4 twin beds. Below Loft in the Woods is the XC ski service area with stone grinding and waxing etc. We respect your quiet time. Shop operates during the day through early evening.

WAX HUT & GEAR STORAGE

Guests have exclusive use of our secure wax hut: heated & well-ventilated, well lit, 2 forms, Bluetooth radio and plenty of room for ski, bike and gear storage.  Bike & XC Ski Shop at lower level of cabin rental.
